A massive dust storm created terrifying scenes across Rajasthan’s Bikaner and nearby regions after thick black-and-yellow dust clouds completely covered the roads and turned daytime into near darkness. According to recent reports, visibility dropped close to zero as powerful winds carried huge walls of dust across multiple districts including Bikaner and Churu.

Videos going viral on social media show roads disappearing under heavy dust while vehicles were forced to switch on headlights in the middle of the afternoon because conditions looked almost like nighttime. Several reports described the scenes as “apocalyptic,” with strong winds disrupting normal life across Rajasthan.

The India Meteorological Department reportedly linked the extreme weather to a western disturbance affecting northwestern India, with more dust storms and unstable weather expected in some regions.
