Allama Iqbal Medical College (AIMC) and Fatima Jinnah Institute of Dental Sciences (FJIDS) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic collaboration, enhance BDS teaching, and improve clinical training for dental students.
The signing ceremony was attended by Principal AIMC Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Waseem, Dean FJIDS Prof. Armughan Israr Mirza, Medical Superintendent Jinnah Hospital Prof. Moinuddin along with senior faculty members and administrative officials from both institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Waseem said that the MoU would further strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions and play a significant role in providing BDS students with high-quality, modern, and practice-oriented education. She emphasized that institutional partnerships are essential for advancing excellence in medical and dental education.
Dean FJIDS Prof. Armughan Israr Mirza said that this collaboration would provide students with quality teaching, comprehensive clinical exposure, and mentorship from experienced faculty members, helping them develop the professional competencies required to excel in the field of dentistry. He reaffirmed the commitment of both institutions to working together for the continuous improvement of dental education and training.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, both institutions expressed confidence that the partnership would promote academic excellence, strengthen clinical education, and contribute to producing highly competent future dental professionals.
