APS Backs PAAM’s Call for Federal Ministry

The Acupuncture Promotion Society (APS) has extended unconditional support to the Pakistan Association of Alternative Medicine (PAAM)’s demand for the establishment of a dedicated Federal Ministry for Alternative Medicine.

Addressing a joint press conference, APS President Arshad Mughal said a separate ministry is essential to protect the rights of practitioners and promote the sector according to international standards. He assured PAAM of full support for its campaign.

PAAM President Dr. Kashif Aslam Malik welcomed the endorsement, saying the unity of alternative medicine organizations sends a strong message that the sector cannot be ignored. He urged all representative bodies to unite behind the one-point agenda.
