UEFA Champions League Final: Paris Saint-Germain Beat Arsenal F.C. on Penalties to Retain Title
Paris Saint-Germain claimed the UEFA Champions League title after defeating Arsenal F.C. in a dramatic penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
Arsenal took an early lead in the sixth minute through Kai Havertz. However, PSG responded in the second half when Ousmane Dembélé found the net to level the score.
Neither side managed to score during extra time, forcing the match into penalties. PSG eventually secured a 4-3 victory in the shootout to lift the trophy.
The win marks PSG’s second consecutive Champions League title. The French club had also won the competition last year after defeating Inter Milan in the final.
