Pakistan Win 1000th ODI, Beat Australia by 5 Wickets in 1st ODI

Pakistan secured their 1000th ODI victory after defeating Australia by 5 wickets in the first ODI of the series. The national side successfully chased down the 201-run target in the 43rd over.

Babar Azam starred with a brilliant 69-run knock, while Ghazi Ghori contributed 65 runs to guide Pakistan to victory.

Earlier, Pakistan bowled Australia out for 200 runs, with debutant Arafat Minhas delivering an impressive performance by taking 5 wickets.

For Australia, Matt Renshaw was the top scorer with 61 runs.

The second ODI of the series will be played in Lahore on June 2.
