Shahdara Teaching Hospital Treats Over 250,000 Patients in Three Months.

Government Shahdara Teaching Hospital provided healthcare services to more than 250,000 patients during the last three months, reflecting significant improvement in healthcare delivery under the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Adnan said that 102,345 patients were treated in OPD and 147,990 in Emergency, while the Gynae Department conducted 483 C-sections and 614 normal deliveries. The hospital also performed 196 general surgeries, 118 orthopedic surgeries, and 24 urology procedures.
He said the hospital has strengthened emergency and critical care services through better coordination among ICU, Emergency, Radiology, and Pathology departments, while ensuring uninterrupted oxygen supply. Facilities for patients and attendants have also been improved through the establishment of a daycare center, a Musafir Khana, and installation of water coolers.
Dr. Adnan reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to providing quality, patient-friendly healthcare services.
