Transparency International Pakistan (TI-P) participated as a Knowledge Partner in the 8th International Conference on Energy, Environment & Sustainable Development (EESD 2026), contributing to critical discussions on Pakistan’s energy transition and climate priorities.
Organized by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology in collaboration with Civil Society Support Programme (CSSP), the conference brought together policymakers, academia, civil society, and practitioners to explore pathways for sustainable and inclusive development.
As part of the panel on energy transition, TI Pakistan Executive Director Mr. Kashif Ali emphasized that the shift towards clean energy must be just, inclusive, and grounded in strong governance frameworks, ensuring that benefits reach local communities, particularly in high-potential regions like Sindh.
Through such engagements, TI Pakistan contributes and supports a people-centered approach to energy transition in Pakistan.
