New Zealand secured an easy victory in the second Test match. Chasing a target of 56 runs set by the West Indies, New Zealand reached the total for the loss of just one wicket.

Batting first, West Indies scored 205 runs, to which New Zealand replied with 278 runs in their first innings. In the second innings, West Indies were bundled out for just 128 runs, giving New Zealand a simple target of 56, which they chased comfortably.

Jacob Duffy was named the Player of the Match.
