Humanoid robots in China have successfully completed more than 60,000 industrial tasks during a six-day continuous trial on a factory production line, achieving a 99.99% success rate.

According to reports, robots developed by AgiBot operated for more than 64 hours at a factory in Nancheng, eastern China, carrying out quality control, inspections, and material handling. The entire demonstration was also livestreamed.

AgiBot Senior Vice President Yao Maoqing said the key question for the humanoid robotics industry is no longer what robots are capable of doing, but whether they can be deployed efficiently in real industrial environments to deliver practical value.

The company said the trial was designed to demonstrate that AI-powered humanoid robots can work reliably in real manufacturing environments for several consecutive days without interruption.

AgiBot also announced that it has produced more than 15,000 robots, marking a significant step toward large-scale deployment of humanoid robots in real-world industries.

Meanwhile, China’s new 2026–2030 Five-Year Economic Plan has identified humanoid robotics as one of the country’s 10 priority industrial sectors, highlighting the government’s focus on advancing robotics and artificial intelligence as key drivers of future economic growth.
