Severe Heatwave Alert: Temperatures May Reach 50°C in Sindh and Other Regions
A severe heatwave is expected in several cities including Sukkur, Shikarpur, Qambar Shahdadkot, Jacobabad, Larkana, Mohenjo-Daro, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Tharparkar, Badin, Sujawal, Thatta, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Muhammad Khan, Umerkot, Ghotki, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze, Mirpurkhas, Jamshoro, Sanghar, Sibi, Turbat, and Panjgur, where temperatures may rise between 47°C to 50°C, which is 4 to 6 degrees Celsius above normal.
On Friday, most parts of the country are expected to experience hot and dry weather, while Sindh, eastern/southern Balochistan, and plain areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to remain extremely hot. However, during the evening/night, rain accompanied by strong winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms is expected at a few places in Kashmir and adjoining hilly areas.
On Saturday, hot and dry weather is expected in most regions of the country, while Sindh, eastern/southern Balochistan, and the plains of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are likely to remain intensely hot. However, after noon, rain with strong winds, dust storms, and thunderstorms is expected at a few places in Kashmir, northeastern/eastern Punjab, and the Pothohar region.

Hot and dry weather is expected during the day in Islamabad and surrounding areas. However, partly cloudy skies and strong winds are likely in the afternoon.
Saturday Forecast for Islamabad:
Hot weather and partly cloudy conditions are expected during the day in Islamabad and surrounding areas. However, after noon, strong winds/dust storms and rainfall may occur at a few places with a 30% probability.
