Defending Champions RCB Storm Into IPL 2026 Final
Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) stormed into the IPL 2026 final after crushing Gujarat Titans (GT) by 92 runs in the qualifier at Dharamshala, reaching their second consecutive final and strengthening their chances of retaining the title.
Batting first, RCB posted a massive total of 254 runs, powered by captain Rajat Patidar’s unbeaten 93 off just 33 balls, featuring nine sixes. Virat Kohli and Krunal Pandya also made valuable contributions with 43 runs each.
In reply, Gujarat Titans were restricted to 162 runs, with Rahul Tewatia top-scoring with 68. For RCB, Jacob Duffy starred with the ball, claiming three wickets in a dominant all-round performance.
