He was warmly received by Rector Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Sheikh, Registrar Prof. Dr. Iqleem Haider Taqvi, and Dean FCET Dr. Zahoor Hussain Shah. During his comprehensive tour of the academic block, the Chairman reviewed facilities, interacted with faculty, and appreciated their efforts. He shared valuable insights to further strengthen academic quality and held key discussions on academic development and expansion of degree programs.Earlier this month, HITMS successfully convened its 1st Board of Faculty meeting with distinguished external experts including Dr. Kamran Taj from University of Sindh, Dr. Fida Hussain Khoso from Dawood Engineering University, and Dr. Maria Shaikh from IBA University of Sindh. The Board approved the Outcome-Based Education framework for BSCS and BSSE programs and greenlit the Scheme of Studies for the new BS FinTech program. Policy documents covering eligibility, degree requirements, curriculum books, and Course Information Sheets were also finalized.Rector Prof. Dr. Saeeduddin Sheikh noted that these steps reflect HITMS’s strong commitment to academic excellence and alignment with modern technological and industry requirements.The institute’s impact is already visible. HITMS student teams recently won three national innovation challenges in AI, renewable energy, and agritech.
