The University of the Punjab successfully concluded the National Outreach Program for Faculty (NOPF) and National Outreach Program for Management (NOPM) with a joint closing ceremony at the Institute of Administrative Sciences.

Dr. Noor Amna Malik, Managing Director, National Academy of Higher Education (NAHE), Higher Education Commission, Islamabad, attended as Chief Guest. She also held an interactive session with Management Officers Training Program participants, described as uplifting and engaging. In her address, she appreciated the successful execution of both programs, commended the Vice Chancellor’s leadership, and encouraged participants to serve as ambassadors of professional development in their departments. She emphasized applying and cascading the learning, announced potential international training opportunities, and shared plans for a specialized program for Heads of Departments.
The Vice Chancellor termed the initiatives a unique opportunity for growth, urging participants to maintain a positive, continuous learning mindset and embody inclusive values in their professional lives. He also appreciated Training Coordinator Dr. Sania Malik for her efforts.
Dr. Amjad Magsi, President Academic Staff Association (ASA), highlighted the participants’ role in driving positive change within the University. Earlier, Dr. Sania Malik presented an overview of the programs and acknowledged NAHE’s PKR 3.9 million grant that enabled their successful execution.
Representing participants, Dr. Shareh Qazi described the faculty training as reflective and enriching, while Ms. Mehwish Khurshid shared that the program strengthened management officers’ sense of belonging and institutional responsibility.
The ceremony concluded with certificate distribution. Among the attendees were Dr. Rehan Sheikh (Dean FHS), Dr. Amjad Magsi (President ASA), Dr. Aqil Inam (Director ORIC), Dr. Kashif Rathore (Director IAS), Muhammad Muneeb Ur Rehman (Assistant Director NAHE), and Rai Hassan Rauf (Resident Auditor).
The completion of NOPF and NOPM marks another milestone in advancing professional development and leadership excellence at the University.
