Dr. Luay Shabaneh congratulated Adv. Rubina Aman Brohi on her appointment as Chairperson of the Commission and assured UNFPA’s full support in advancing the mandate of SCSW and strengthening women-focused initiatives across Sindh.
During the meeting, Adv. Rubina Aman Brohi shared the Vision 2026 of the Commission, outlining key priorities, existing gaps, and challenges in ensuring effective protection and empowerment of women. She reaffirmed the Commission’s strong commitment to women’s rights, gender equality, and institutional strengthening.
Both sides discussed potential areas of collaboration and partnership, emphasizing the importance of coordinated efforts between SCSW and UNFPA to achieve sustainable and rights-based outcomes for women and girls in Sindh.
SCSW looks forward to working in close collaboration with UNFPA to advance shared goals for women’s empowerment and protection.
