A full-day study visit to Master Wind Energy Ltd. was organized for the 4th Year students of the Morning and Evening programs as part of experiential and outcome-based learning under the Renewable Energy course. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Zeeshan Alam Nayyar, In-Charge, Department of Applied Physics, and took place on January 21, 2026.
The study visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to renewable energy generation, wind turbine technology, grid integration, and sustainable power systems. This hands-on industrial experience effectively complemented classroom instruction by bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world applications.
Through this visit, students were able to achieve the following Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs):
CLO-1: Understand the fundamental principles and working mechanisms of wind energy conversion systems.
CLO-2: Analyze the role of wind power in sustainable and clean energy generation.
CLO-3: Relate theoretical concepts of renewable energy systems to real-world industrial applications.
CLO-4: Evaluate the operational, environmental, and economic aspects of wind-based power plants.
Such academic–industry engagements play a crucial role in enhancing students’ practical understanding and preparing them to address emerging challenges in the renewable energy sector.
