Over 500 Million Ticket Requests Received for FIFA World Cup 2026
FIFA has received over 500 million ticket requests for the 2026 World Cup.
The FIFA 2026 World Cup will kick off on June 11, with the final scheduled for July 19.
FIFA stated that receiving a record number of ticket requests marks a new milestone in the history of global sports. Apart from the three host countries, the highest number of requests came from Germany, England, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Argentina, and Colombia.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy is set to arrive in Dhaka today.
According to FIFA, the most ticket requests were received for the group-stage match between Colombia and Portugal in Miami on June 27.
It is worth noting that the sixth FIFA World Cup trophy was unveiled on January 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
