K-Electric’s Roshni Baji Programme: Empowering Women, Illuminating Lives

K-Electric has launched the 5th and 6th cohorts of its Roshni Baji Programme, aimed at empowering women in the energy sector. Since its inception in 2021, the programme has trained over 200 women and reached 880,000 households, promoting energy awareness and safety .

The programme focuses on educating women about electrical safety, energy conservation, and disaster management, while also providing employment opportunities. K-Electric’s CEO, Munus Aliwi, stated, “Roshni Baji is a catalyst for change, empowering women and illuminating communities” .
