Today Dr Shereen and me had a nice meeting with Dr Ayoob Shaikh senior journalist and Anchorperson and Muhammad Dittal Kalhoro, CEO Sindh Rural Support Organization(SRSO) at the Stall of 17th Sartiyoon Sang Craft Exhibition, Ocean Mall Karachi.
We appreciated the efforts of SRSO for promoting and integrating Sindh’s Craft at national and international level. This has not only created the entrepreneurship and job opportunities for local artisans but has also improved their skills and innovation.
We also discussed the rich culture of Sindh and importance of Sindhi Culture Day now being celebrated by Sindhis around the globe, creating harmony and integration with other cultures. This has revived our cultural heritage and also resulted in shape of an industry creating lot of opportunities for artisans, skilled persons and local entrepreneurs.
