Australia Takes 177-Run Lead Over England in Brisbane Test

Australia’s first innings ended at 511 runs, giving them a lead of 177 runs over England, who had scored 334. England will begin their batting in the final session of Day 3.

For Australia, Jake Weatherald scored 72, Marnus Labuschagne 65, Steve Smith 61, and Alex Carey 63. However, the real advantage came from Mitchell Starc’s brilliant innings. Starc continued his outstanding Ashes form, scoring 77 runs with 13 boundaries, further strengthening Australia’s lead.
