The Honorable Minister for Universities & Boards, Mohammad Ismail Rahoo, attended the 13th Meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto University of Law (SZABUL). On his arrival at the University campus, he was warmly received by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Justice (Rtd.) Kusar Sultana Hussain, along with senior university officials.
The meeting was presided over by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, who introduced the esteemed members of the Finance and Planning Committee and emphasized the importance of effective financial governance for the University’s sustainable growth. During the session, Director Finance Syed Ali Abbas Abidi presented a detailed briefing on SZABUL’s financial position, development planning, and progress on ongoing and proposed initiatives.
Addressing the meeting, the Honorable Minister appreciated the academic significance of SZABUL and acknowledged its vital role in imparting quality education and professional training in Law, Criminology, and Business Studies. He assured that despite existing administrative and financial challenges faced by higher education institutions, the Government of Sindh is taking concrete steps to address these issues on a priority basis.
The Minister expressed satisfaction with the University’s progress and extended his best wishes to the Worthy Vice Chancellor, faculty, administration, and students, hoping that SZABUL will continue to contribute effectively to legal education, research, and institutional development in Sindh.
