Under the project “Empowering Local Stakeholders and Communities for Diversified and Sustainable Livelihoods, and Protection against Climate Risks for Vulnerable Communities in District Mirpurkhas, Sindh Province,” funded by Malteser International & #BMZ and implemented by the SRSO – Sindh Rural Support Organization, BDG members Barkat Ali and Haq Nawaz transformed an opportunity into a sustainable #livelihood through Prime Mart.
Both, educated youth formed a Business Development Group (#BDG) and has received interest free 1.Milion loan to establish Prime Mart located at Bus Stop near Akota Stop on Jhudo–Naukot Road, for serving community needs.
For many families, this means reduced transportation costs, less fuel expenditure, saved time, and easier access to essential household items. What may seem like a simple shop is creating wider community impact easing financial pressure on households and making daily life more convenient.
