Mild Earthquake Tremors Felt in Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Earthquake tremors were felt in several areas of Islamabad and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Swat, Shangla, Buner, and Nowshera.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 5.7 in magnitude, with its epicenter located in the Afghanistan–Tajikistan border region. The quake originated at a depth of 170 kilometers.
Following the tremors, residents in the affected areas rushed out of their homes while reciting prayers.
Meanwhile, rescue officials reported that no loss of life or property has been confirmed so far. However, emergency response teams have been placed on alert as a precaution.
