In a crucial Super 8 clash of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, England cricket team defeated New Zealand cricket team by four wickets, keeping Pakistan cricket team in contention for a place in the semi-finals.
Batting first, New Zealand posted 159 runs in their allotted overs. Glenn Phillips top-scored with 39, while Tim Seifert added 35 runs. England’s bowling attack was led by Adil Rashid, Will Jacks and Rehan Ahmed, who claimed two wickets each.
