SEF and TTWF Hold Progress Review Meeting In compliance of Honorable Chief minister’s Directives

A formal progress review meeting was held between the Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) and the Teach the World Foundation (TTWF) to review compliance with the directives issued by the Honorable Chief Minister Sindh regarding program implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and student outcomes.
The meeting was chaired by the Managing Director, Sindh Education Foundation, Gahanwer Ali Laghari, and focused on strengthening transparency, accountability, and effectiveness of the program in line with the Chief Minister’s vision for quality education and skills development.
Key Discussion Points:
🔹 Monitoring and Evaluation Framework:
Both organizations discussed the development and implementation of robust monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure effective tracking of student progress and overall program performance.
🔹 Certification Mechanism:
The importance of establishing a clear and credible certification process for students completing the program was emphasized to enhance their academic and professional prospects and facilitate their transition into the mainstream education system.
🔹 Third-Party Evaluation:
The scope was discussed and agreed upon that a third-party evaluation will be conducted following the completion of baseline and mid-term evaluations to ensure transparency, accountability, and independent assessment of program outcomes.
🔹 Mainstreaming of Students:
Detailed deliberations were held on developing mechanisms to facilitate the mainstreaming of students after completion of the 30-month course, ensuring their smooth transition into formal education streams.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from SEF, including Deputy Managing Director Shahpara Rizvi, Director Programs & Planning Nisar Banbhan, Director IT & M&E Nawab Zafar, Deputy Director Programs Mukhtiyar Chandio, Deputy Director Assessment Unit Ali Usman, and Deputy Director Advocacy & Communications Mona Zubedi.
Representatives from Teach the World Foundation included Farhan, Ahmed, and Kazim, who participated in the discussions and shared their inputs on program implementation and compliance.
The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both SEF and TTWF to comply with the Chief Minister’s directives and to work collaboratively towards improving educational outcomes, strengthening monitoring systems, and ensuring sustainable impact for students across Sindh.
