Second Batch of Bangladeshi Students Arrives Under Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships
As part of the ongoing academic collaboration, a second group of 28 Bangladeshi students awarded the Allama Muhammad Iqbal Scholarships under the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor has arrived in Pakistan to pursue higher education at leading universities across the country.
Earlier this month, a group of 45 Bangladeshi students also reached Pakistan.
The students were received by representatives of the Higher Education Commission and partner universities at Jinnah International Airport. They had earlier been seen off at Dhaka Airport by Pakistan’s High Commissioner, Mr. Imran Haider.
The Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor aims to deepen academic cooperation and enhance people-to-people contacts between the two brotherly countries.
The initiative marks a significant step in strengthening educational ties, while supporting Bangladesh’s focus on youth empowerment through education and skills development. U
nder this initiative, the Government of Pakistan, through HEC, is offering 500 fully funded scholarships to Bangladeshi students.
Welcoming the students, HEC officials wished them success in their academic pursuits and a rewarding stay in Pakistan.
The Commission and participating universities reaffirmed their commitment to providing quality education, a supportive academic environment, and full facilitation to international students.
