T20 World Cup: Bangladesh Announces Decision to Stick With Original Plan

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced that it will not change its decision regarding the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, confirming that the Bangladesh team will not travel to India for the tournament.

Bangladesh’s Sports Adviser, Dr Asif Nazrul, made the announcement, stating that the team will not go to India for the World Cup.

He said that Bangladesh’s concerns are genuine and have not been acknowledged by the International Cricket Council (ICC). According to him, the ICC has failed to accept Bangladesh’s position on the matter.

Dr Asif Nazrul added that Bangladesh wants to play and still hopes that the ICC will eventually recognize and address their concerns.
