Karachi Mayor, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, has reactivated the Benazir Waterfall at Kidney Hill Park, a popular recreational spot in the city. The waterfall, named after former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, is 200 feet long and 25 feet high, and is a major attraction at the park.
The Kidney Hill Park is being developed as a unique recreational destination, with various facilities and amenities for visitors. The park is home to an urban forest, with thousands of trees and plants, including Neem, Palm, and Date Palm trees. Visitors can enjoy walking trails, cycling tracks, and picnic areas, making it an ideal spot for families and nature lovers.
The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) is undertaking various initiatives to restore and develop the Kidney Hill Park. The park is being maintained and managed by the KMC, with a focus on creating a green and clean environment. The reactivation of the Benazir Waterfall is a significant step towards enhancing the park’s beauty and attracting more visitors
