Cold and Dry Weather to Persist Across Most Parts of the Country, Dense Fog Likely in Plains

Cold and dry weather is expected to prevail in most parts of the country on Saturday and Sunday, while very cold conditions are likely in hilly areas. Moderate to dense fog is expected to persist in the plains of Punjab, upper Sindh, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during morning and night hours. In the Potohar region and Kashmir, fog may develop at a few places during the early morning hours.

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, cold and dry weather is expected to continue on both days; however, fog is likely to form during the night and early morning hours, which may affect visibility.
