Sukkur IBA University hosted the Inland Study Tour of Probationary Officers of the Office Management Group (OMG), Government of Pakistan, Establishment Division, Islamabad, as part of their Specialized Training Programme

On Monday, January 05, 2026, Sukkur IBA University hosted the Inland Study Tour of Probationary Officers of the Office Management Group (OMG), Government of Pakistan, Establishment Division, Islamabad, as part of their Specialized Training Programme. The delegation, led by Ms. Saadia Bashir, Director, and Mr. Israr Ahmad, Director, comprised 33 probationary officers along with 06 senior faculty members/coordinators from the Secretariat Training Institute.
The delegation was warmly received by Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Rehman Soomrani, who welcomed the participants on behalf of Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh and shared insights into Sukkur IBA University’s academic vision, institutional growth, and national contributions.
Prof. Dr. Niaz Ahmed Bhutto, Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, highlighted the University’s scholarship initiatives and its strong commitment to providing quality education in the underprivileged regions of Sindh. Appreciating the academic environment and world-class facilities, Ms. Saadia Bashir commended Sukkur IBA University’s role in strengthening public sector capacity building.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by the presentation of traditional Sindhi Ajraks and caps as a token of appreciation. In a reciprocal gesture, Ms. Saadia Bashir presented a commemorative shield to the Pro-Vice Chancellor. The delegation later went on a comprehensive campus tour and also visited the grave of the Late Pioneer Vice Chancellor of Sukkur IBA University, Prof. Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, paying tribute to his lasting contributions. The visit concluded by reinforcing Sukkur IBA University’s commitment to collaborative learning, institutional excellence, and national development.
