Pakistan’s Top Performers Across All Three Formats in 2025
Several Pakistani cricketers delivered outstanding performances for the national team across all three formats of the game in 2025. From T20Is to ODIs and Test cricket, a number of players stood out as leading run-scorers and wicket-takers.
In T20 cricket, Sahibzada Farhan emerged as Pakistan’s leading run-scorer of the year. He scored 771 runs in 26 matches, finishing at the top of the chart. Other players included in the top five run-scorers list were Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Fakhar Zaman, and Hasan Nawaz.
Among bowlers in the T20 format, Mohammad Nawaz enjoyed an excellent year as an all-rounder and finished as Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker, claiming 36 wickets in 26 matches. The rest of the top five included Abrar Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Faheem Ashraf, and Haris Rauf.
In One Day Internationals (ODIs), Salman Ali Agha led Pakistan’s batting charts, scoring 667 runs in 17 matches. On the bowling side, Abrar Ahmed was the most successful, taking 18 wickets in 10 matches to become Pakistan’s leading ODI wicket-taker of the year.
In Test cricket, Shan Masood topped the batting charts for Pakistan, scoring 397 runs in 5 matches. Meanwhile, Noman Ali dominated with the ball, taking an impressive 30 wickets in just 4 matches, making him Pakistan’s leading wicket-taker in the longest format.
