I am glad to share highlights from the ๐ผ๐ฌ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐๐จ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ฉ ๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐๐ฃ๐ค๐ก๐ค๐๐ฎ-๐๐๐๐๐ก๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง-๐ฝ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐ (๐๐-๐๐ฝ๐)โ 2025 organized by ๐๐๐๐๐ผ ๐๐ฃ ๐๐ค๐ก๐ก๐๐๐ค๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐ ๐ฝ๐๐ง๐๐๐จ๐๐ฉ ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ as part of the global 16-๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐จ ๐ค๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ข ๐ผ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐จ๐ฉ ๐๐๐ฃ๐๐๐ง-๐ฝ๐๐จ๐๐ ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐๐ฃ๐๐.
The event was held at ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ฏ๐ ๐ฝ๐๐๐ช๐ข ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐ง๐ ๐พ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ก๐๐ญ, ๐๐๐ง๐ฃ๐ค๐ก, ๐๐จ๐ก๐๐ข๐๐๐๐ on ๐ญ๐ด๐๐ต ๐๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ง๐ต๐๐ฟ๐๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ and brought together Ministry of Human Rights, Islamabad Police, STEP, Bardasht Pakistan board of Trustees, office bearers and members, Lions Club representatives, students, organizational staff, and members of the local community. The strong and diverse participation reflected a shared commitment to protecting womenโs rights and addressing gender-based violence.
The program featured expert talks, informative presentations, and documentary screening focusing on family protection, different forms of GBV, and the growing impact of technology in facilitating violence. Practical guidance on prevention, reporting mechanisms, survivor protection, and available support services was also shared, helping participants better understand the social, legal, and psychological dimensions of TF-GBV.

Overall, the event was a meaningful step toward strengthening collaboration between UN agencies, civil society, law enforcement, and human rights institutions- reinforcing our collective responsibility to create a safer, more just, and equitable society for women and girls.
