CSSP, in collaboration with NCA Pakistan, successfully organized a Provincial Consultation on “Gender-Inclusive Climate Resilience, Protection, and Institutional Coordination” in Karachi, focusing on the Mirpurkhas Division (Mirpurkhas & Umerkot). 🌍
The consultation focused on strengthening gender-responsive climate preparedness and protection systems ahead of the 2026 monsoon season, with particular attention to vulnerable communities in Sindh.
The event brought together government representatives, policymakers, civil society, and community representatives to improve institutional coordination and advance inclusive disaster risk reduction (DRR) approaches across Sindh.

The event concluded with collective recommendations to strengthen women’s representation in disaster planning, improve institutional coordination, expand safe shelter and referral systems, and formally integrate community and faith networks into local DRR frameworks.
