COMSATS University Islamabad hosted a high-level delegation from OIC-COMSTECH African member states on December 2, 2025, in a move to deepen academic collaboration across continents.
Led by Prof. Dr. Sohail Asghar, In-charge of Islamabad Campus, along with the International Office team, the visit featured a guided tour of the Junaid Zaidi Library and Khad’o Khal Art Gallery. Delegates and CUI leadership then convened to discuss the university’s robust research framework and its expanding partnerships throughout Africa.
Key topics included co-funded research initiatives, scholarship programs, and enhanced student exchange opportunities. COMSTECH announced potential support for travel and visa costs for African students pursuing studies at CUI—a significant boost for cross-border educational access.
The day wrapped up with a souvenir exchange and networking lunch, underscoring a shared commitment to Pakistan–Africa academic solidarity and innovation.
