Sydney Sixers Register First BBL Win with 47-Run Victory over Sydney Thunder

In the Sydney face-off in the BBL, Sydney Sixers secured a 47-run victory. Batting first, the Sixers posted 198 runs, with a half-century from Babar Azam and an impressive 96 from Josh Philippe.

In reply, Sydney Thunder were bowled out for 151 runs. Jack Edwards starred with the ball, claiming 5 wickets. For the Thunder, Sam Billings scored 51 runs while Shadab Khan contributed 41.

This victory marks Sydney Sixers’ first win of the BBL season.
