🌟 Nationwide Launch of the Measles & Rubella (MR) Vaccination Campaign – Islamabad 🌟

The national Measles & Rubella (MR) vaccination campaign was inaugurated at Community Health Centre (CHC) Bari Imam, Islamabad, organized by the District Health Office Islamabad and the Federal Directorate of Immunization (FDI), in collaboration with UNICEF and in partnership with WHO, Gavi, the Gates Foundation, and other supporting organizations.
The ceremony was symbolically launched with on-camera MR vaccination of the son of District Population Welfare Officer Muhammad Ayub, sending a strong message of trust and confidence in vaccines.
The Federal Health Minister emphasized:
“This campaign is vital for protecting our children from Measles and Rubella. Parents are urged to ensure timely vaccination.”
The campaign will run from 17–29 November 2025, vaccinating all children aged 6–59 months nationwide. The Federal Health Minister also visited CHC Bari Imam during the launch.
