Sukkur IBA University celebrated the 13th Graduation Ceremony of the Diploma in 3D Animation & Visual Effects on November 19, 2025. Organized by the School of Animation, Department of Computer Science, the event reaffirmed the University’s mission to promote vocational, technical, and skill-based learning.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh congratulated graduates and emphasized the importance of Sukkur IBA University’s “Learn to Earn” philosophy in building market-relevant skills and supporting students’ financial empowerment. He also appreciated the efforts of Dr. Qamar Uddin Khand, Muhammad Wajahat Ali Zeeshan, Ali Hyder Memon, and Mudasir Asad for their dedication to quality training.
In his welcome remarks, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mujtaba Shaikh highlighted the growing opportunities in global and local animation and gaming industries, underscoring Pakistan’s potential to emerge as a competitive regional hub.
Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah encouraged students to enhance their skills, build strong portfolios, and contribute to the digital economy through “Learn to Earn” initiatives.
A special feature of the ceremony was the screening of “Shades of Reality: From Challenges to Awareness,” an animated documentary created by the diploma students, addressing environmental, social, and digital-age themes with creativity and responsibility.
The event concluded with the distribution of diploma certificates, marking the graduates’ readiness to step into the fields of 3D animation, visual effects, and digital media production.
