Al-Khidmat Foundation Establishes Monsoon Disaster Rescue Cell in Lahore.

Al-Khidmat Foundation Lahore has established a state-of-the-art Monsoon Disaster Rescue Cell in Gulberg to respond to potential urban flooding and rain-related emergencies during the upcoming monsoon season.

The facility was inaugurated by Patron Al-Khidmat Foundation Lahore Zia-ud-Din Ansari Advocate and President Engineer Hammad Rashid. Senior leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami, Al-Khidmat officials, rescue staff, and volunteers attended the ceremony.

Speaking on the occasion, Zia-ud-Din Ansari said Al-Khidmat has always played a leading role in serving citizens during emergencies and natural disasters. He stated that hundreds of trained volunteers will remain available round the clock to respond to rescue calls, while a Mobile Health Unit equipped with medical staff and essential medicines has also been deployed to provide immediate healthcare assistance.

He expressed confidence that the rescue cell will help ensure a timely and effective response to monsoon-related emergencies across Lahore.
