Sahiwal Teaching Hospital Launches Dead Body Transportation Service.

Under a special initiative of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Sahiwal Teaching Hospital has launched a Dead Body Transportation Service to provide dignified, safe, and timely transportation of deceased patients to their homes.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner Sahiwal Captain (R) Samiullah Farooq, Principal Sahiwal Medical College and Teaching Hospital Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhtar Malik, Dr. Faisal Waheed, and other distinguished guests.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhtar Malik said the service reflects the government’s commitment to public welfare and compassion. He added that the initiative will provide much-needed support to bereaved families during difficult times and help ensure respectful transportation of the deceased.

The service is aimed at easing the burden on families and promoting a more humane and patient-centered healthcare system.
