The tree plants Distribution and planting is continued with communities to promote #GreenSindh and #CombatingClimateChange by SRSO – Sindh Rural Support Organization through engaging community institutions. For this purpose, in Dhani Bux Gaho and Jalal u Din Khaskhely villages, taluka Faiz Ganj district Khairpur Mir’s distributed and planted trees.
#SRSO team distributed saplings/plants among Sindh People’s Housing For Flood Affectees (#SPHF) beneficiaries to promote environmental protection and greenery initiatives.
On this occasion sessions were also conducted with Village Organizations (#VOs) and Village Reconstruction Committees (#VRCs) and conducted dialogues.
During the sessions, detailed awareness was provided regarding the importance of #plantation, proper care of plants, regular watering, protection from animals, and community participation in making the plantation campaign successful.
The participants were encouraged to take collective responsibility for the protection and maintenance of the planted saplings to ensure healthy growth and long term #environmental benefits.
