Hot and Dry Weather Expected Across Most Parts of the Country, Rain Likely in Several Areas

The Meteorological Department has predicted hot and dry weather in most parts of the country today, while rain is expected in several areas.

According to the department, Islamabad is likely to experience partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain at some places. In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are expected to remain partly cloudy.

Rain is expected in Dir, Swat, Malam Jabba, Bajaur, and Kalam, while chances of rainfall also remain in Chitral, Buner, Kohat, and Abbottabad. Peshawar, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Bannu, and Dera Ismail Khan may also receive rain at some locations.

Most districts of Punjab are likely to remain hot and dry, however, rain is expected in parts of Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Murree, and the Galiyat region. Rain is also possible in Gujrat, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Sargodha, and Mianwali.

Sindh will mostly experience hot and dry weather, with upper regions facing intense heat. In Balochistan, hot and dry conditions are expected in most areas, although rain is likely in Zhob, Sibi, Barkhan, and Musakhel.
