SMIU Model School Celebrates “Marka-e-Haq Week” with Patriotic Spirit and Enthusiasm

The Sindh Madressatul Islam University’s Model School organized a vibrant and patriotic “Marka-e-Haq Week” celebration to pay tribute to the soldiers of Pakistan Army, Navy, and Air Force. The week-long activities aimed to promote patriotism, national unity, and awareness among students regarding the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan’s Armed Forces for the defense of the country.
Students enthusiastically participated in various activities, including tableaux, poetry recitation, essay writing competitions, arts and crafts exhibitions, robotics displays, speeches, and debate competitions. Through their performances and creative presentations, students expressed deep love and respect for the homeland and its defenders.
The concluding ceremony was held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, where appreciation certificates and awards were distributed among the students for their outstanding performances in poetry, essays, tableaux, debates, and other competitions.
The ceremony was graced by the Vice Chancellor of Sindh Madressatul Islam University Dr. Mujeeb Sahrai as the chief guest. He warmly appreciated the efforts of the students and lauded the dedication of the Principal of SMIU Model School, Ms. Nabeela Kanwal, for organizing such meaningful and inspiring activities.
Addressing the students, the vice chancellor highlighted the courage, sacrifices, and unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces in safeguarding the nation. He encouraged students to adopt the qualities of discipline, bravery, patriotism, and selfless service demonstrated by the soldiers of Pakistan. He urged the young generation to always stand ready to defend and serve the country, regardless of the sacrifices required.
