Babar Azam equals Fakhar Zaman’s record for most runs in PSL

Babar Azam, captain of Peshawar Zalmi, has equaled multiple records in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the PSL 11 Qualifier against Islamabad United, Babar Azam played a शानदार innings of 103 runs, smashing 4 sixes and 12 fours.

This was Babar’s second century of the current season and his fourth overall in PSL history. With this, he is now jointly at the top among players with the most centuries in the league. Usman Khan has also scored four PSL centuries.

Additionally, Babar Azam matched Fakhar Zaman’s record for the most runs in a single PSL edition. Babar has scored 588 runs in the ongoing event, the same number Fakhar scored in 2022 while playing for Lahore Qalandars.

Notably, Babar Azam has now scored 500 or more runs in a PSL season four times, highlighting his remarkable consistency in the tournament.
