Heavy Rains & Storm Alert: Risk of Flash Flooding and Damage Across Multiple Regions

Between March 30 and 31, heavy rainfall may cause flash flooding in local streams and nullahs of upper and central Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and کشمیر. Flash flooding is also possible in northern بلوچستان, including Zhob, Musa Khel, Sibi, Kohlu, Barkhan, Nasirabad, and Loralai. Strong winds, windstorms, hailstorms, and lightning may damage weak infrastructure such as electricity poles, billboards, and solar panels.

On Monday, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms (with snowfall over mountains) is expected at most places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper/central پنجاب, اسلام آباد, کشمیر, and گلگت بلتستان, while isolated areas in northeastern بلوچستان and southern پنجاب may also receive rain. Heavy rainfall and hailstorms are expected at some locations. In southeastern سندھ, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms is also possible in a few areas.

On Tuesday, rain with strong winds and thunderstorms (and snowfall over mountains) is expected at scattered places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper پنجاب, اسلام آباد, کشمیر, گلگت بلتستان, and northeastern بلوچستان, while a few places in southern پنجاب may also receive rain. Heavy rainfall and hailstorms are likely at some locations.

In اسلام آباد and surrounding areas, the weather is expected to remain cloudy on Monday with intermittent rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms. Heavy rain and hailstorms are also expected at a few locations.
