Is it cake… or a mountain?

This is Bokty Mountain, a surreal natural formation in Mangystau, West Kazakhstan, rising 165 meters from the flat Ustyurt Plateau. What makes it so mesmerizing are the vivid, multicolored sediment layers — formed over millions of years when this land was once covered by an ancient ocean 🌊.

The bands of red, white, and violet come alive at sunrise and sunset, glowing like molten layers of icing under the Kazakh sky 🔥🌅.
And if you look closely… you might just spot fossilized shark teeth beneath your feet — remnants of a prehistoric seafloor 🦈.
