Hamdard University proudly marked its presence at the 16th Annual SIRM and 11th Midwifery Conference 2026 through Rufayda Hamdard College of Nursing, where learning met leadership beyond conventional boundaries of OBS/GYN. Representing a strong academic liaison between Hamdard Foundation and Kohi Goth, the delegation was led by Prof. Alia Nasir, Principal Rufayda Hamdard College of Nursing, along with dedicated faculty members and enthusiastic students. This event was organized by Kohi Goth and Abu Zaffar Institute of Nursing & Midwifery with 2026 theme, “Preventing Avoidable Maternal Mortality and Morbidity in Pakistan”.
Principal Rufayda Hamdard College of Nursing Prof. Alia Nasir was honored to participate as a panelist alongside Ms. Najma Mangi, Director Nursing Sindh, Prof. Dr. Pamela Marshall, Dean Faculty of Nursing ZUFONAM, and Prof. Dr. Shaheena Zafar, Founder of Abu Zafar Institute, Kohi Goth Initiative. Adding to the academic impact, Ms. Yasmeen Jan Muhammad, Assistant Professor, Rufayda Hamdard College of Nursing, delivered an insightful oral presentation on postpartum complications, highlighting evidence-based nursing practices and maternal health challenges.
