On 28 January 2026, Dow Dental College, in collaboration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP), successfully organized a pre-conference workshop as part of IMECON 2026, under the leadership of Prof. Naresh Kumar, Principal, Dow Dental College.
The workshop focused on innovative teaching strategies, technology integration, and AI-supported learning in health professions education, with an emphasis on active participant engagement, collaboration, and practical application.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions including Think–Pair–Share by Dr. Saqif Nasir, fostering structured reflection, peer discussion, and critical thinking; the Jigsaw Technique by Dr. Amber Saeed, promoting hands-on collaborative learning, teamwork, and deeper understanding; and AI-Supported Prompt Activities by Dr. Rida Fatima, enabling the design of interactive AI-assisted tasks to enhance clinical reasoning and personalized learning.
The workshop equipped educators with future-ready skills and strategies for active and innovative teaching and aligned with the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):
