BBL Decides to Introduce a New Exciting Rule

The world’s most popular T20 league, the Big Bash League (BBL), has decided to introduce a new “Super Sub”-style rule.

According to details, the “Designated Batter” rule will be implemented from the next edition of the Big Bash League.

Under this rule, before the bat flip (toss), both teams will have the option to nominate any batter from the playing XI as a “Designated Batter.”

If a “Designated Batter” is named, the team must also announce a corresponding “Designated Fielder,” who will take the field in place of the designated batter during the match.
