Pakistan Women’s Squads Announced for South Africa Tour

The Pakistan Women’s cricket team squads for the upcoming South Africa tour, including both One Day International (ODI) and T20 formats, have been announced.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the squads for the tour of South Africa, starting from February 10 in Potchefstroom.

Fatima Sana will continue to captain the team in both formats, while Syra Jabeen and Hamna Bilal have been included in the squads for the first time. Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroza, Tasmiya Rubab, and Najeha Alvi have returned to the ODI squad.

Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroza, Muniba Ali, Nasra Sandhu, and Aleah Riaz are part of both squads. Diana Baig, Najeha Alvi, Sadaf Shams, and Syeda Aroob Shah have been included in the ODI squad only, while Hamna Bilal, Syra Jabeen, Tuba Hassan, and Iman Fatima are part of the T20 squad.

Currently, the team is preparing for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup. A pre-series training camp will be held in Karachi from February 1 to 6 at the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre.

All T20 series matches will be played as day-night fixtures in Potchefstroom, Benoni, and Kimberley. Before the ODI series, a 50-over warm-up match will take place in Kimberley. The ODI matches will be played in Bloemfontein, Centurion, and Durban.
