“BBL: David Warner Calls Zaman Khan’s Bowling ‘Like a 4-Year-Old’”
During a Big Bash League (BBL) match, Australian batsman David Warner criticized Pakistani fast bowler Zaman Khan’s bowling action, calling it “like a 4-year-old’s bowling.”
In the match against Brisbane Heat, Sydney Thunder captain Warner approached the umpire and questioned Zaman Khan’s bowling, saying that the ball’s release was unusual and coming downwards in a way that seemed more like throwing than legal bowling. He added that it looked as if Khan was bowling like a 4-year-old.
The umpire did not make any decision against Zaman at the time, and the match continued. However, Warner’s comments sparked debate among fans and analysts about whether it was just playful banter during the game or a genuine critique of the bowler’s style.
It is worth noting that Pakistani fast bowler Zaman Khan was included in Brisbane Heat as a replacement for Shaheen Shah Afridi. Shaheen had to withdraw from the BBL due to a hamstring injury during the match and returned to Pakistan.
