Strengthening humanitarian preparedness on migration & displacement 🤝

Pakistan Red Crescent Society, with the support of IFRC, organized an orientation session on Migration and Displacement for PRCS staff and volunteers in Peshawar, focusing on the merged areas. The session was facilitated by Mr. Raza Haider, Deputy Director Migration & Displacement (PRCS NHQ), who shared key insights on migration challenges, displacement dynamics and PRCS humanitarian responses.
The session began with recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by remarks from Mr. Shahid Malik, Deputy Secretary PRCS Merged Areas, emphasizing awareness, preparedness, and capacity building. Staff and volunteers from Landi Kotal actively participated, and certificates were distributed by Chairman PRCS Merged Areas, Mr. Imran Wazir and Mr. Raza Haider.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Imran Wazir appreciated the team’s dedication, stating, “You are our eyes and ears in the field—standing with communities and ensuring no one is left behind.”
